South By Southwest Showcase

I’m writing from Dela’s house in Nashville where I’ve been singing some backgrounds on his solo effort. Worked all day at Castle Recording Studio yesterday singing on Dela’s valentine to Metairie, Louisiana, the neighborhood where we were both living until he relocated to Nashville last week. As I STILL don’t have a calender up yet I thought I’d post the info for the Sons of William SXSW showcase here on the journal.

We are playing BMI’s Songwriter Showcase which is a very exciting opportunity for us. If you’re around, please come out. We’d love to get as many people in the room as possible. We’re also playing our favorite club, Monsoons in Mobile on the 10th and 11th which I’m sure will be completely insane. I’m just having fun driving myself around Nashville, Atlanta and New Orleans, picking up sessions and gigging with the Sons of William, and listening to Harry Potter books on tape.

Mardi Gras happened in New Orleans last tuesday and Andre’ and I had a very wild time. I will try and post some pictures of that insanity for everyone to enjoy…
