   Watching Taylor Swift opening performance last night left me with a question. I have sent to her, but being a showbiz insider I thought you might know the answer:

   How do you slide down a pole with leather pants on? Every Time I have tried, I end up just stuck at the top, like some bizarre figurine out of a nightmare.

   Thanks for any clarity you could lend to this burning issue.

   Great summary of the CMA backstage… I loved the sweet potato reference. As I played it back , you were exactly right. Look on facebook for the necklace, as promised, I put it on there even if it is on an old wrinkled neck!!! Enjoy the holidays!

   Hi Annie, We continue to enjoy your performance on the Sugarland DVD. Caught you live in St. Louis with Keith U this summer. You rock Girl. Something tells me we will be seeing you solo sometime in the future. In the mean time keep rocking Christian and Jen. Keep strumin Fender!

   I love your music. How cool is it to play bass in my favorite band, Sugarland. I saw you at the Gwinnett Center in Duluth, GA this year and it rocked! Looks like you guys have so much fun – I know I did! I’m only 12, but I hope to be doing the same thing one day! My favorite song is Genevieve. What’s yours?

   Hi Annie–

   I know you are originally from New Orleans and wondered if you still had a place there? Reason I am asking is a bunch of us Univ of Cinti alums are planning to come down to the Sugar Bowl on New Years Day and watch our Bearcats beat the Florida Gators.

   Would you be OK with hosting about a dozen middle-aged football/Sugarland fans at your place for a few days? We’ll bring the beer.

    Annie,

    You were nice enough to respond to my daughter, Maddie Grace, who recently left you a message on your board. That was very sweet. She accidentally erased it. That was one, she was sorry she erased. Oh well, the reason that I was contacting you is that my husband found out that we have a mutual friend in Nashville…. Tracy Hackney. Patrick (husband) was meeting with Tracy today and mentioned that Maddie had received a comment from you. Tracy said, ” Hey, I know Annie Clements. What a SWEETHEART!”. He spoke very highly of you, and said You were crazy (In a good way). Oh well, just wanted to thank you for responding to Maddie. I know you’re very busy. Hope to meet in person sometime.
